The Kings Theatre Gloucester: Bursting with colour

Collaborating with the Kings Theatre team has been a standout experience. As Gloucester’s only 144-seat home for amateur dramatics, the theatre has long held centre stage in the city’s cultural life. Working together to save it from closure was a true ensemble effort, proof that the show can go on when passion, creativity, and community come together. Transforming what was once a drab, unremarkable backdrop into something visually spectacular has been one of my favourite projects to date. It has been a privilege to play a role in this revival, helping to keep the spotlight shining brightly for future generations of performers, dreamers, and theatre lovers alike. 

The Kings Theatre has had the ultimate glow up, now bursting with colour, character, and possibility. It stands proudly as one of the most colourful theatre in the world, ready to welcome audiences and performers and to continue its role as a vibrant cultural hub in Gloucester for years to come.
